My Afib was detected at primary care physicians office, I complained that I felt flutters and recently had a cortisone shot. I have always reacted to Cortisone in a negative manner. Always after a shot and for 3 to 4 weeks after I experience spikes in Blood sugar as well as anxiety and just become really grouchy and intolerant. I there a correlation between Cortisone and Afib? I know my stress levels are very elevated after these shots to the point that I really try to avoid them and really hate to have them, I would rather put up with the pain than the effects of the shots.
