Recruiting Patients with Atrial Fibrillation
We are recruiting patients with atrial fibrillation to participate in an NIH-sponsored study to determine if fish oil supplements decrease the risk of atrial fibrillation recurrence.
- Have atrial fibrillation with 2 or more episodes of atrial fibrillation in your lifetime
- Had at least one episode of atrial fibrillation in the last year that was recorded by a health professional (recorded with an EKG machine or a heart monitor that you wore )
- Are not permanently in atrial fibrillation
then you may be eligible to participate in a research study. You will not need to change your regular medications. Compensation is provided, including mileage compensation if you live more than 10 miles from Vanderbilt.
