You're invited to attend a free seminar about treatment options for atrial fibrillation, the most common irregular heartbeat, sponsored by the THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano.
Speakers:
- James R. Edgerton, M.D., a cardiothoracic surgeon on the medical staff of THE HEART HOSPITAL, will discuss the treatment options for afib, including the newest option called Mini-Maze surgical ablation, a minimally-invasive surgical ablation technique that doesn’t require opening the chest.
- Mellanie True Hills, CEO of StopAfib.org, a non-profit web site for those with atrial fibrillation, and author of “A Woman’s Guide to Saving Her Own Life,” will talk about afib and her own experiences with it.
