Verghese Mathew, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is the division director of cardiology at Loyola Medicine and a professor at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
Dr. Mathew earned his medical degree from Stritch School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology at Mayo Clinic. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
He is board certified in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular diseases. He has been actively involved in these and other cardiovascular professional societies, with an active role in developing high quality, value-driven cardiovascular care in an integrated manner.
