About
Dr. McGee is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Loyola University Health System and head of the hospital’s heart transplant and assist device program. He is also a professor in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He had two residencies at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, one in general surgery and one in thoracic surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
