Managing Your Afib: A Rare Opportunity to Get Expert Advice from One of the World’s Top Cardiac Electrophysiologists, Dr. Eric Prystowsky.

Watch a complimentary presentation on Expert Advice to Get the Right Treatment for You: How to Work with Your Doctor and Your Insurance to Receive the Medications and Care You Need

On this complimentary presentation with StopAfib.org founder Mellanie True Hills and renowned Cardiac Electrophysiologist Eric N. Prystowsky, MD, you'll discover:

  • How to know when it’s time to see a specialist.
  • How to select the right doctor for your unique situation: which types of doctors treat afib, and how to best work with your doctor and other members of your healthcare team — so you feel confident you'll get access to the care you need.
  • How an afib specialist decides on the best medication options for a patient, (including caveats patients should know about), how to make sure you're taking your prescribed medications correctly, why you should never stop a medication without consulting your doctor, and what to do if you believe you need to change medications — so you're informed and prepared when you talk with your doctor, and so you avoid dangerous mistakes and stay safe.
  • What you need to know about how insurance works, so you're able to better understand and exercise all your options and get the medicine you need, and what to do if your insurance won’t approve a specific medication your doctor or specialist prescribes (or if it wants you to be on a different medication from the one prescribed) — so you feel empowered with the tools and information to access the treatments you need.
  • And so much more.
