People living with afib often ask if it is safe and effective to take blood thinners as “pill in the pocket” medications. We don’t have the answer yet. However, a new study seeks to answer that question.
In the survey that many of you responded to in 2021, you expressed an interest in participating in such a study of “on-demand” blood thinners. This new study, called REACT-AF, is now recruiting.

Does AF detected by the Apple Watch in this study classify as Subclinical or Clinical AF? If subclinical, then the results from ARTESIA study suggest that results are not applicable to those with clincial AF as measured by Medical ECG.
