- Reading time: 2–3 minutes
The Health eHeart Alliance is building a network of patients, caregivers, family members, doctors and researchers who all share the goal of working together to formulate new research ideas and improve health outcomes in ways that matter to patients.
What is the Health eHeart Alliance Patient-Powered Research Network?
Imagine a study that is not driven by a pharmaceutical company or a government-approved grant, but by the needs of the patients – that’s what the Health eHeart Patient-Powered Research Network is all about. The Health eHeart Alliance is dedicated to pursuing research ideas from patients and helping the Health eHeart Study make research more “patient-centered.” Through the Alliance, patients, researchers, and clinicians partner together to turn patient concerns and insights into an actionable research agenda that will improve lives.
The Health eHeart Alliance includes the following patient advocacy organizations:
- Mended Hearts and Mended Little Hearts
- SADS (Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes) Foundation
You are invited to join our Research Summit on November 6–7 in San Francisco!
Do you have ideas for how we might improve heart health? Do you want to have a voice in what research gets done and how? Then please join us for this conference.
This will be a fun, interactive event focused on making connections and starting an important conversation about the future of patient-powered research for heart health.
