About
Dr. Shukla attended Rutgers University until 1994 to complete his pre-medical requirements, and received his medical degree from UNIBE School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude.
He completed his internal medicine residency in 2001 at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. His cardiology fellowship training was completed at the University of Missouri - Columbia in 2004.
During his cardiology career he has published many papers in the field of cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology and received an award from the American Heart Association for outstanding research. He then completed an advanced fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Oklahoma in 2005.
He is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is board-eligible in cardiac electrophysiology.
