  • Summary: Our 2020 Keynote: Frank Marchlinski, MD, a True Innovator
  • Reading time: 2–3 minutes

At this year’s Get in Rhythm. Stay in Rhythm.® Virtual Atrial Fibrillation Patient Conference, we’re honored to welcome new faculty members who are on the leading edge of afib research and treatment, as well as well-respected faculty members who have been with us for years.

(You can attend from home October 30–November 1 by registering here: Get Your Life Back.)

It is rare that we carve out a keynote presentation for the conference. This is only the third time in seven years that we have done so.

With that in mind, we’d like to introduce you to this year’s keynote presenter, Frank Marchlinski, MD, FHRS.

We’re thrilled that Dr. Marchlinski will be joining us this year; he’s the Director of Electrophysiology at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, one of the world’s foremost experts on catheter ablation, and a true innovator who other electrophysiologists look up to.

He loves working with patients and told us that he’s looking forward to sharing what he’s learned throughout his career. After hearing Dr. Marchlinski’s presentation Friday morning, you’ll be much better prepared to manage your afib.

For more than 30 years, Dr. Marchlinski has remained at the leading edge of cardiac rhythm management. He has authored or co-authored more than 450 original scientific articles and more than 200 book chapters/reviews/editorials on a variety of topics in cardiac electrophysiology. He is on the editorial boards of the most prestigious journals, has directed multiple regional and international electrophysiology symposia, and has received numerous teaching awards at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Marchlinski’s opening keynote, Answers to the Most Common Afib Patient Questions, will help you to take control of your afib. He will talk about how to reduce your afib through managing weight, blood pressure, diabetes, alcohol consumption, and sleep apnea (did you know that 50–70% of those with afib also have sleep apnea?).

You might even get your questions answered, time permitting.

Dr. Marchlinski is one of the world’s most renowned experts on treating and managing afib, and attending the Get in Rhythm. Stay in Rhythm.® Atrial Fibrillation Patient Conference is a special opportunity to hear directly from him (from the comfort and safety of your home, at an investment level that’s less than what you might typically spend just for your co-pay to see a specialist like Dr. Marchlinski).

Here’s that link again where you can read more about the conference faculty and agenda, and register.

Again, this year’s conference is virtual, and will take place October 30–November 1.
