Here, Dr. Kamran Rizvi talks about radiofrequency (RF) catheter ablation, including the “stages” of afib, pre-ablation testing, and what to expect before, during, and after an RF catheter ablation.

Learn how to get in rhythm and stay in rhythm by watching videos of the Atrial Fibrillation Patient Conference that was held in Dallas on November 2, 2013. At the conference, presentations by leading afib experts provided atrial fibrillation patients, families, and caregivers with the information to manage afib and get appropriate care. • Excellent explanation. Dr. Rizvi makes a clear, coherent, and concise explanation of a complex procedure. He talks so we lay people can understand. I am thankful for him and all the other speakers who help those of us who have AF understand more about what can or may be done to improve the quality of our lives. Thank you Mellainie True Hills for the great work you have done and are continuing to do to keep us informed.
